Panduan Instalasi Proxmox VE pada Debian 12 (Bookworm)

Dokumen ini menjelaskan langkah-langkah install Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) di atas Debian 12 (Bookworm) secara manual (tanpa ISO Proxmox).

1. Persyaratan Sistem

Hardware Minimum (Disarankan)

CPU 64-bit dengan dukungan virtualisasi (Intel VT-x / AMD-V)
RAM minimal 2 GB (disarankan ≥ 4 GB)
Storage minimal 20 GB
Koneksi internet
IP address statis

Software

Debian 12 (Bookworm) – clean install
Akses root atau user dengan sudo

2. Persiapan Sistem Debian 12

2.1 Update Sistem

apt update && apt full-upgrade -y
reboot

2.2 Set Hostname

Cek hostname:

hostnamectl

Set hostname (contoh: proxmox):

hostnamectl set-hostname proxmox

Edit file /etc/hosts:

nano /etc/hosts

Contoh isi:

127.0.0.1       localhost
192.168.1.10    proxmox.localdomain proxmox

Ganti IP sesuai IP server Anda

3. Konfigurasi Repository Proxmox

3.1 Tambahkan Proxmox GPG Key

wget https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/proxmox-release-bookworm.gpg -O /usr/share/keyrings/proxmox-release-bookworm.gpg

3.2 Tambahkan Repository Proxmox VE

echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/proxmox-release-bookworm.gpg] http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve bookworm pve-no-subscription" \
> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-install-repo.list

Update repository:

apt update

4. Install Proxmox VE

4.1 Install Kernel Proxmox & Paket Utama

apt install proxmox-ve postfix open-iscsi chrony -y

Saat instalasi postfix:

Pilih Internet Site
System mail name: bebas (contoh: proxmox.local)

4.2 Reboot Sistem

reboot

5. Konfigurasi Jaringan (Bridge)

Proxmox membutuhkan Linux Bridge.

Edit file network:

nano /etc/network/interfaces

Contoh konfigurasi:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto enp0s3
iface enp0s3 inet manual

auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
    address 192.168.1.10/24
    gateway 192.168.1.1
    bridge-ports enp0s3
    bridge-stp off
    bridge-fd 0

Restart network:

systemctl restart networking

6. Akses Web Interface Proxmox

Buka browser dan akses:

https://IP_SERVER:8006

Contoh:

https://192.168.1.10:8006

User : root
Password : password root Debian
Realm : Linux PAM

7. Menghapus Notifikasi Subscription (Opsional)

Edit file:

nano /usr/share/javascript/proxmox-widget-toolkit/proxmoxlib.js

Cari:

if (data.status !== 'Active') {

Ubah menjadi:

if (false) {

Restart service:

systemctl restart pveproxy

8. Verifikasi Instalasi

Cek status service:

systemctl status pve-cluster
systemctl status pvedaemon
systemctl status pveproxy

Cek versi Proxmox:

pveversion

9. Catatan Penting

Disarankan tidak menginstall desktop environment di Proxmox
Gunakan storage ZFS atau LVM-thin untuk performa optimal
Backup VM secara rutin

10. Selesai 🎉

Proxmox VE berhasil diinstall di Debian 12 dan siap digunakan untuk membuat VM dan Container.
